An Exclusive Translation for Sisters Upon Al-Istiqaamah
Q: Al-Allaamah Ahmad ibn Yahyaa An-Najmee (Rahimahullaahu ta'aala) was asked, "What do you advise the Muslim with in these days of ours?"
A: I advise him to live upon Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism) and the correct aqeedah (creed), to show concern to the performance of the mandatory duties and obligations, and to distance himself from sins and those things which are forbidden.
He should keep company with the people, keep away from evil ones. He should follow the sunnah, keep away from bid'ah (innovation), be cautious of the fitan because there is much tribulation in this time. I advise him to stick to his house and cry over his sins as the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi was sallam said to one of the companions, "Stick to your house and cry over your sins".
And with Allaah is the success.
