An Exclusive Translation for Sisters Upon Al-Istiqaamah
Allah, The Most High said:
And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness. (An-Nisaa: 159)
Ibn Jareer reported that Ibn Abbas said:
“Before the death of ‘Isa the son of Maryam (Mary).”

Abu Hurairah narrated upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
“By Him in Whose Hands my soul is. The son of Maryam will soon descend amongst you and he will be a just ruler. He will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizyah. There will be an abundance of money and no one will accept it. A single prostration to Allah will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Then Abu Huraira said, “If you wish, you can recite:

Allah, The Most High said:
And indeed he will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path. (Az-Zukhraf: 60)
Ibn Katheer said commenting upon this verse:
“Mujaahid said, ‘A sign of the hour is the descension of Jesus the son of Maryam before the day of judgement.’ Likewise, this is reported upon Abu Hurairah, Ibn ‘Abbas, Abul ‘Aaliyyah, Abu Maalik, ‘Ikrimah, Al-Hasan, Qataadah, Ad-Dahhaak and others.”
