The People of Innovation
Imaam Al-Haafith Al-Maqdasee (May Allaah have mercy upon him) said regarding the people of innovation:
"Have knowledge, may Allaah have mercy upon you, that Al-Islaam and its people have been approached/attacked from three groups:
1. A group that has rejected the narrations of the characteristics (of Allaah) and declared the narrators of these narrations to be liars. These individuals are more harmful upon Al-Islaam and its people than the disbelievers.
2. A group that has stated that the narrations are authentic and accepted them. However, they falsely interpretated them after that. These individuals are a greater harm than the first group.
3. A group that has avoided the first two statements. They are more harmful than the first two groups."
